Despite the absence of viruses, Apple tries to maintain it’s Operative System secure, before it’s vulnerabilities are exploited. Recently, they released a new security patch which fixes 25 of these said flaws, despite the fact that no reports were made on these vulnerabilities being exploited.
You can acquire the patch via the Software Update application or in the Apple Downloads site.
