Wouldn’t it be awesome if DC could get a few movies made? I mean, seriously, why the hell can’t the get some flicks on the screen? Well, part of the reason is that they keep announcing crap like this that you can already tell is NEVER going to happen.
In addition to the recently announce JLA film that we will NEVER see (mark my words on that one folks) , they have now announced, via Wizard, that David Goyer is working on a script for a film called “Super Max” that would star Green Arrow, who is imprisoned in a Super Max facility, and must team up with several DC B and C list villains to escape the prison.
There is no way in hell this movie will ever come out. Like The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Superman Vs. Batman, and basically every other property DC has going for it right now, this one just isn’t going to happen, folks. Hopefully someone at Warner Bros. will wake up soon and start letting good people work on their properties, and then TRUST THEM to do the job (Warners…two words…JOSS WHEDON….you dumbasses). It would be awesome to see a good DC happen soon. Batman Begins was great, Superman Returns was crap, and other than that, we haven’t seen squat on the big screen…and won’t anytime soon. It’s sad.

1That’s funny I thought “Superman Returns” was really well made.

2Sure, it was well made…but that doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t a very good film. Superman was a stalker who knocked up a woman who didn’t even know that she was walking around an office with him every day of th week, and then he got his ass handed to him by Lex Luthor in the only real fight in the movie…and was saved by Cyclops!
ugh.
crap.
