The cable companies are definitely in trouble. Netflix is in trouble too if this thing can deliver movies to me on a subscription model...and Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are in trouble if it can do it in HD. It's a very exciting time to be into this stuff. @Jennifer

At first, I thought the NYTimes piece was a bit extreme, but now I'm feeling the same way. This just sounds cool. And looks cool -- both the box and the UI. It will be interesting to see how this thing compares with the Apple TV, and how Apple responds to it. I think the competition will be good for consumers.
