It appears that the next generation of portable gadgets is all about movement or tilting sensors. The Wiimote has them, the iPhone has them and now these new phones from Docomo will also have them.
These new FOMA series are mostly clam-shell models, and each of them have different specifications and functionalities. While one of them is better suited for those that intend on watching television on the go (in Japan, that is very popular) some of them have movement or tilting sensors that allow you access certain functionalities of the device simply by making a particular movement with it.
Although that is not exactly the way that the iPhone will use it’s tilting sensor, it’s nice to see other ways to interact faster with our portable devices.
