Although some Sony employees claim that they are not working on a smaller and lighter PSP, the fact brought out with this article begs to differ. If you’ve ever followed the price trend of past Playstation consoles you’ll realize that Sony usually follows a price reduction with a console redesign.
Unfortunately, this price drop will only apply to the PSP Core which includes little more than the console and the charger. The drop will be of $30, bringing it down to $169.99 from $199.99.
