George Lucas and Mark Hamil will be lending their voices to Robot Chicken: Star Wars, an upcoming 30 minute special set to air on Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) on June 17th @ 10:00 pm.

The special is directed by Robot Chicken co-creator Seth Green, and has been approved by Lucasfilm, including the company lending RC audio for effects, and even George Lucas himself making an appearance in the special by doing voice work for the show.

The special came about when the team at Star Wars.com wanted to posted a copy of the Emperor’s Phone Call (see below)…somehow from there, they ended up producing this special.
