There have been a few rumors coming and going about how the eagerly awaited title for the Playstation 3, Warhawk, is going to be released. According to the Patrick Klepek, from 1UP, the game will be released both a retail and an online release, via Sony’s Playstation Network service.
There is no word regarding the differences, if any, between the two releases, but one can speculate that the downloadable version might just have the essentials for an online multiplayer match, just to tease the consumer enough to purchase the Bluray disk. Or one can merely assume that there won’t be any differences between the two releases at all.
Considering that the Playstation 3’s largest hard drive is of 60GB, I think I’d prefer to purchase the disk rather than having it occupy precious space on the rather limited HDD.
