Windows XP to be phased out by year's end

Despite the high customer demand for Windows XP which has grown, over the years, into a stable and relatively fast operative system, Microsoft’s contract with various hardware manufacturers forces them to sell Windows Vista.

Which means that starting January all new Windows computers will be flashing and spamming hundreds of useless special effects of Windows Vista, whether they want them or not. Looks like Microsoft is pulling a Sony in PR in public relationships.
