Aiptek today is claiming to have broken several records with its new GO-HD Camcorder. The camera is one of the least expensive ever to captue HD images. The sub-$300 camcorder is capabile of recording 720p widescreen clips at a full 30 frames per secondThe use of real-time H.264 (AVCHD) encoding also allows for as much as four hours of full-quality video when using an 8GB SDHC card.

The companies site is being hit so hard to day it’s hard to navigate, but I’m sure it will calm down soon.

You can check out the device by clicking here.

If this camcorder is capable of everything Aiptek claims, it will be a revolutionary HD device that will be a MUST have on video podcaster’s lists…as well as Dads who want to make sure Dance Recital is crystal clear….
