In a recent Yahoo! News article, Paul McCartney spoke about his upcoming album, “Memory”, which will be available online (this is a first for his albums), and he also confirms that the entire settlement for the distribution of the Beatles’ albums online has concluded, meaning that they should show up very soon on some online music stores.
This marks the end of an era of feuds and hold-backs, and for the very first time, their music will become digitally available, which will allow their music and their message to reach the computers and digital audio players of millions of fans and newcomers alike.
I, for one, will be definitely purchasing some of their albums online. What about you?

My thinking is, the vast majority of people who are already Beatles fans already have what they want on CD – it’s not like all these songs have not been available to purchase anywhere…
So the target market for these new digitally available tracks are people who aren’t already fans, and I guess extreme fans who feel the need to purchase the songs again in every format available…
