If you enjoy movies and reading this blog, the chances are that you’ve already seen the original, or Director’s Cut version of Blade Runner, one of my favorite movies of all time. If you haven’t, or don’t own the DVD, this year might be the perfect opportunity to do so.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film (yes, it’s been that long), Ridley Scott will be releasing a new version of the film, which instead of just being a lazy way to make some extra cash on the classic, will feature entirely new scenes that were shot recently.
If this release adds significant impact to the story, I will definitely purchase it, even though I already own a copy of the original.
