In the business of DAP players, with the exception of Apple, it is usually Creative that gets the second spot in terms of sales numbers. Despite already sharing some features with the iPod, like the Creative-Patented interface, and having sued Apple about it, it appears that now they are the ones pursuing Apple’s design, with their newest screen-less DAP, the Zen Stone.
This small 1GB player features the same shape and clip that Apple’s iPod Shuffle has. It’s slightly heavier than the iPod Shuffle at 18.3 grams, but will retail for $40 when it’s released on the 14th of this month.
I wonder if the guys that made the “Super Shuffle” will seize the opportunity to release another Shuffle clone with a small screen with this design.
