Even though the original Crystal Chronicles game didn’t have much success, it seems that Square Enix isn’t ready to drop the series just yet. This new Crystal Chronicle titles will also be released for a Nintendo console, however, this time it will be for the Nintendo DS.

Despite having the average “pumpkin-headed” characters, this new title appears to use a different graphics engine and the whole game appears to be more detailed than the recent Final Fantasy III remake.

Not much more is known about the game, but it’s safe to say that this is going to be a great year for Nintendo’s portable console.
