Xbox 360 with HD DVD

If you loved the Matrix movies, and really, who didn’t like the first one? (I try to ignore that two others were created after it). You can buy the HD DVD Ultimate Matrix Collection to watch on your Xbox 360’s HD DVD drive if you have one, and included is a code to download all of the Animatrix, a series of short animations about the world of the Matrix.

A very cool addition to the HD DVD set, but for those that don’t have the Xbox 360’s HD DVD drive, or the Xbox 360 itself, it is a useless inclusion. Not only that, but my Xbox 360’s 20GB hard drive is always full, so I’d have to remove some other media to be able to put the Animatrix on there.

No word on how big the download is, but it looks like it might be time for me to get a bigger hard drive attached to my Xbox 360. By buying the ultra-expensive 120 GB hard drive because modifying my console to get a bigger drive in place might leave me without access to Xbox Live at all.
