So, we’ve seen Downey as Tony Stark, and we’ve seen the Mark I Gray Armor, but today we get a look at the Mark III “hero” Armor from the film, and it looks AMAZING!
Based on the numbering of the costumes, I assume there is still a version that we might not have seen yet, that serves as a “missing link” between the two armors that we’ve seen, but man…it really looks like they’re getting this thing right. This stuff looks amazing.
For reference, he’s a image of the current comics version of the Iron Man armor…

I still hope they use the classic look from the old comics,mostly because I think

Now all they need is to do Green Lantern with a Last Starfighter story of lowly human becoming hero of the Corps.
When I first heard about this movie I was a little doubtful, but after seeing the picture of Downey as Stark and this picture of the suit, I’m definitely excited now.
