Screw the next show! I want the producers to end it with the questions answered.

Why the hell does the "high note" matter?

Beyond that, Alias failed in patrt because the direction of the program kept changing, sometimes in-between seasons and the half-year breaks NEVER HELPED.

bah. morons.

I'm a fan of "Lost." TiVo it every week. Have lots of theories and engage in lots of water cooler chatter at work about the episodes. Eager to find out the whole story - assuming that the writers aren't just making this stuff up as they go. But despite all that...

It'll never make it.

I'm still miffed over the way that Abram's "Alias" petered out with so many loose ends. Similarly, there are simply too many Red Herring mysteries that "Lost" brings up and then sidesteps, never to answer or even acknowledge again. Those just make the audience feel cheated and strip the show's creators of credibility.

The show will collapse under its own weight before it can run its course. The creators should end it early while still on a high note. Then they can parlay their succes & popularity into the next show. If they wait until Lost fizzles out, they'll have lost that leverage.

Awesome! Lost is a great show and now the writers will have something to move towards instead of having to open up more loopholes in order to keep the series going. Brilliant!
