Probably be Cap’n Bestway if they left it at one series in my opinion. The reason why this show is interesting is trying to work out whats going on, I don’t really want a lost-type scenario where all the bafflement just keeps going on and on for series after series.

This has “created by an executive to hopfully boost network ratings” feel to it. I hope Heroes doesn’t become like CSI and Law and Order. So many spin offs, none of them worth watching…

I’m with Matt Z; it’s important not skimp on quality just so you can plug a gap. The fact that only some characters will ever make it into Heroes already makes me suspicious that this sub-series may just be ‘light entertainment’ compared to normal Heroes.

As long as the sub-series has the same quality production and story lines, it should be good. However, they better be careful because a crappy sub-series could turn people off from watching the next season of Heroes when it comes back around.
