		<description>I remember that in Japan a lot of electric bikes are marketed towards older folks, who might not have the strength to pedal up longer hills. In these bikes, the motor isn&#039;t very heavy or strong. If you think of it as a bike with that extra feature, then it&#039;s a good idea.

A scooter or motorcycle is a totally different way to get around. You can&#039;t ride those (or park) in the same spaces as a bike, you need to refuel at the gas station, plus you need a motorcycle license (depending on cc and state). Motorbikes (even scooters) are a lot bigger and heavier than a bicycle.</description>
