Probably the most relevant limitation of most cellphones today, is the low storage capacity they have, or the limits of the flash cards that they support. Thankfully, Samsung has been moving the industry forward, in terms of flash memory at least, and have just announced a new 4GB model aimed at mobile devices.

That chip should allow programmers to develop more robust applications without worrying about the size, just the performance, and also allow them to ditch the expandable memory slot, which means that we might just be able to slice a few more millimeters off of our cellphones.
