Even though I never tried out Second Life, I never realized how limitless it could become. A group of fans of the classical Square title, Final Fantasy VII, have re-created, in full 3D, the widely known city of Midgar, and participate in roleplaying activities there.
You can go from anywhere the like the church in the slums or the Mako reactors, where the original story began.
Although you’ll probably find a incredibly large number of players going around with titanic-huge swords and names that are derived from “Cloud” or “Sephiroth”, the concept of a fan-made 3D recreation of a virtual city that was only seen in 2D is amazing.
If you are one of those fans who have been eagerly waiting for a 3D recreation of Final Fantasy 7’s world, this is as close as you’ll get.

2Well, the reactor got griefed (attacked by haters) and parts of it were broken and such, so we had to return it all. Don’t worry, I do believe we plan on making a new reactor that keeps it’s faith to the one in FF7
