Tim Roth has been cast as The Abomination in the upcoming Hulk sequel.
The Abomination, as he was originally conceived, was a Russian who exposed himself to twice as much gamma radiation as Dr. Banner, and became twice as strong, and twice as ugly. He also didn’t have the ability to turn back into his human form.
The Incredible Hulk is shaping up really well on MOST fronts. The cast is stellar, and they seem to be wanting to go in a completely different direction than Ang Lee’s Hulk film….which is a good thing in my opinion. Louis Leterrier is directing, which I think is great because the Transporter films (that he directed) are great action films, and he’s got an eye for that genre.
My biggest concern is that Zak Penn is writing the screenplay…here’s why…he wrote Elektra…and X-Men 3. That’s not the world’s greatest track record for super hero films…still…I have hope….

1Great, I agree with everything but one part; The Transporter movies were terrible action films.

3I stand by my love of the Transporter movies. Were they over-the-top? Hell yeah…but they were supposed to be.
I want my Hulk movie filled with bad ass “Hulk Smash!” action…and I think Leterrier can pull it off.
