The New York Times has a great avatar slide show that gives you a look into the avatars that a variety of people have chosen from different games. I really enjoyed looking at this. For me, in most of the games I have played, my avatar is not really a reflection of myself, or what I want to look like, but instead, a character that fits a back story I have in my head.
Check out the slide show. You might be surprised to see what some people have chosen. I think it says a fair bit about their personality.

1you know? that’s probably my favorite one. Maybe The Business suit guy too.
It was kinda interesting how most of the pictures and avatars were similar, in most respects. The one I chose for example, has a “more buff” character as an avatar, like…that’s what he wants to be….
Anyway. Just a thought.
