Although no one would have thought so, Apple has just updated their Macbook Pro line to the latest Intel Processors and chipset and gave them a RAM boost and a new graphics card. Here are their specifications:

2.2GHz Core 2 Duo. 2GB RAM, 120GB HD, 15″ LED. GeForce 8600M GT 128MB – $1999
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo. 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, 15″ LED. GeForce 8600M GT 256MB – $2499
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo. 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, 17″. GeForce 8600M GT 256MB – $2799

With both the Macbooks and Macbook Pros being updated just before WWDC, we can’t help but wonder what Apple has in store for us there. I hope they give the new Mac OS X some spotlight instead of simply showing some new iPhone features.
