About a week ago, on an interview for a Swedish newspaper, Nokia claimed that users prefer keyboards and joysticks over touchscreen interfaces. But now it seems that they truly intend on embracing the technology according to this article.

Tero Ojanpera, Chief Technology Officer of Nokia, yesterday said, “Optical sensors and touch will be the next big things.”

I can’t wait to see how they’ll react after the iPhone goes on sale. But it’s nice to see that Apple’s trends give a positive influence to the market.
