In the race to become slimmer and faster, one of the areas where we usually don’t see much improvement or don’t notice it, is with laptop disk drives. Thankfully, Panasonic was able to shave off a few millimeters from the previous record-holding drive which was 9.9mm thick.

I’m sorry readers but I was unable to find out how fast this DVD burner… well, burns.
