Apple is updating it’s website right now and the page for the Beta Safari has just come up. You can now download it from this link.

My first impression of the browser is that it really is blazing fast! I miss the spell-checking, but damn… this gives Opera a run for it’s money in terms of speed. I just tested loading my homepage with both of them and I have no doubts about it.
For another look at the browser on both Windows and Macs, take a look at our sister blog, Apple Gazette.

2Apparently a lot of people are having different kinds of problems with it. A friend of mine couldn’t open bookmarks on his computer, but on his other one it works perfectly. Another friend of mine simply can’t open it, it looks all messed up. Yet another one, has problems with forms.
I tried it on both my XP running laptop, and my Vista desktop and it runs perfectly on both of them. I guess I’m lucky…
