Iron Man just keeps getting cooler. Today we have a report from AICN that Samuel L. Jackson, who the Ultimate version of Nick Fury was based on, is making a cameo appearance in Iron Man.
I mocked up the Image to the left in Photoshop, but I can’t wait to see the real deal.
Iron Man, which stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, is the first of Marvel’s independently financed features…that independence will allow them some more freedom, and the ability to have chararacters appear in different films. So we could see Nick in the Captain America movie, and ultimately (pun intended) the Avengers movie.

YES!
I’m amused at this and it raises my interest in the movie by one point.
[...] Samuel Jackson will play as Nick Fury, even though the comics have him as a caucasian (but I guess its justified considering Lex Luther is a Brotha and they had corny ass Kevin Spacey play him in “Superman 2005″) [source] [...]
Actually in the Ultimates line of Marvel, Fury was patterned after Jackson, so it’s a perfect fit.
