Samsung has just announced another mid-range laptop aimed at users who are looking for a relatively accessible laptop, but powerful enough to be considered a desktop replacement. As usual, it will be available with various different specifications, including:
Core 2 Duo or Celeron, from 512MB to 2GB RAM, SATA HDD from 60 to 120GB, Blu-ray or HD-DVD, DVD multi…the chipset is a 965PM, other goodies include a GeForce 8400MG, 13.3 inches monitor (1280×800) all for just over 2 kilograms
With the exception of the Disk drive, which you will be able to choose, it seems like a pretty average laptop by today’s standards.

12 kg sounds really good. With the monitor size, it’s easily portable in long journeys, specially in train journey (as I often travel long distances to see my girlfriend).
