If you were still skeptical about the emergence of these new flash-based disks then worry no longer, because Samsung has just announced that they will be the first company mass-producing 1.8inch SSD disks.

With any luck, these drives should start to become fairly common towards the final quarter, and with any luck, manufacturers will allow you to choose between one of these nice disks or a disk drive. And since Leopard ships in October supposedly…
