Although none of this data can be confirmed, Kotaku has got a hold of some new details about the console’s imminent redesign. First of all, the screen will be of the same size, which comes as no surprise, since the current one already has an amazing amount of pixels per area.
Second detail is that it will have a “Sidekick-esque” slider, which will help reduce the console’s size, but won’t help in protecting the screen, unless it can flip. The console will have 4GB of internal memory, but there will probably be different capabilities for different models.
The new model will be released this Fall (at least in Japan), but before that, Sony will probably introduce the console at E3, so we’ll find out if these details, or rumors, turn out to be true.
