Not only is Apple storing NAND flash modules for future devices, but they are also ordering more Touch Screens from the Taiwanese company Wintek. Wintek refused to comment due to customer confidentiality.
According to the source, these said Touch Screens will be used for the upcoming revisions of the Video iPod, but another source tells me that they are just preparing for the production of more iPhone devices.
Either “rumor” makes sense, but since the iPhone is doing so well, in terms of sales, and since Apple will soon announce a brand new line of devices, I don’t honestly think that they will release a new iPod just yet.
