Have you ever wished that you didn’t have to login to some “ugly” back-office interface in order to manage and configure your wireless router? No…? Well, in any case, Belkin has just announced that their latest Wireless Router, the N1 vision will have a small screen and a simple button interface that allows you to interact with it without resorting to an internet browser or some other application.

It would be interesting to be able to check the status of the Wireless network, and it’s connections, on the fly, like you can by looking at the colored displays on your router for each plugged-in device. And I’m surprised that a product with this functionality didn’t arrive sooner.
If this device works as well as it looks, then it’s certainly worth considering when you purchase your next wireless router.
