From the “360 Heroes Experience” to the Origins episodes we’ll be expecting next year, Heroes has done some amazing things when it comes to keeping their viewers interested in the show during downtimes. One of the methods I’ve been following pretty closely (and recapping weekly over on TV Jab) is the Online Novel, which does a fantastic job of giving us backstory on existing characters as well as introducing some new ones.
USA Today is reporting that DC Comics will be publishing a hardback compilation of the series. The article says it will cover the “43 comic-book vignettes that appeared on the Heroes website last season,” but chapter 43, the most recent episode, is right in the middle of a story arc, so we’ll need some clarification on that.
In addition to the comics themselves, also look for featured new covers by Alex Ross and Jim Lee, as well as Tim Sale, who painted the artwork done by Isaac Mendez in the show.
