Yesterday Apple announced the great results they’ve had accompanied with the sales numbers of all Macs and iPods. But one thing they didn’t mention, was how many Apple TVs were sold.

By making some rough calculations, Philip Elmer-DeWitt from Apple 2.0 was able to estimate more or less how many Apple TVs were sold.
So how many were sold? Well, so far, approximately 206000 units were sold. Which falls behind any other Apple product right now. The question is, will Apple continue to support Apple TV, or will the slowly stop giving it attention, like they did with the still Core 2 Duo-less Mac Mini?
