Although Microsoft’s latest console has been well received in most places, it has been plagued with reports about problems and errors which upset customers, and sometimes force them to pull additional money out of their wallets, just to repair it.

Thankfully, it appears that Microsoft has decided to extend their warranty regarding any “3 red lights” failures, to 3 years, and cover all repair, and shipping, costs. Customers who bought their console, under 3 years, but have had to pay for it’s repairs, can also ask for a reimbursement.

So Microsoft’s investing more money in PR, and Sony seems to keep losing more in that aspect. But in terms of upcoming titles, Sony’s future is very bright, with titles such as Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear.

Right now, there seem to be a lot of letdowns, from both consoles, either in terms of problems, or in terms of price and lack of good titles. Although you may disagree with me, I honestly feel that this generation of consoles came a year too soon.
