If you’re a fan of the anime-theme MMO Ragnarok Online, then you’ll be happy to hear that NEC has released a limited Ragnarok-themed laptop in Japan. The outside of the laptop is painted in green or pink with a nice Ragnarok artwork on it.

Obviously this laptop is able to play the Korean MMO very well, but don’t expect to play more modern MMOs on it at a decent frame rate:
Turion 64 X2 TL-21 @ 1.6GHz (CPU), ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 (Video Card), 80 GB HDD all under the 15.4 inches monitor rocking a 1280×768 resolution.
If priced correctly, I guess that this laptop could interest a few hard-core fans, specially on the land of the rising sun or in Korean. But I’d purchase something else, unless I wanted this simply as a collector’s item.

2There’s “Ragnarok” on the top left part of the jelly monster… and yes, I know that jelly monster are also common in the popular Dragon Quest series.
But in this particular case, this artwork is of a creature called “Poring”, from Ragnarok Online.
