I simply do not get the Zune marketing ads.
While I have never cared for the iPod silhouette ads, at least I knew what they were advertising. This Zune ad, though, is better than previous efforts. There are no penis monsters running into giant eyeball creatures this time (does anyone else find it funny that that thing’s eyeball would go blind after three days or three plays, or is it just me)?

1Most companies try to hard with their advertising. People want simple things that say “This is what it does, buy it now”, they don’t want these things with abstract ideas that only a genius or an exceptionally crazy person could understand.

2ok, i *know* the zune can share stuff, but still that’s a weird and too symbolic way to show it. how’s anyone going to guess what the zune can from an ad like that? (on the ipod silhouettes, at least you saw a very highlighted mp3 player….)

4I found the Zune ADs very intriguing.
I was getting tire of ‘ here is what it does, buy it ! ‘.
I’m surprised to find out some people didn’t like this AD.
Very stylish and intriguing.

5I got the concept, every time they shared something (zunes big selling point) they got higher, ae things got better. The more you share the better it gets, atleast according to zune.
