Not too long ago, Nokia released, what they call a “beautiful computer” that had it all, inside one package, the N95. It even won the award for best Imaging Device in 2007’s TIPA awards. But of course, all of it’s features did not come without a price, or limits.
In terms of price, depending on where or how you acquire it, it can be as expensive, if not more than the iPhone (in terms of what you’re paying for the device, and not considering any data plans). In terms of limitations, the normal model only has little over 100 megabytes of memory, and was only expandable to 2GB through a flash card.
Thankfully, Nokia finally sees a need for much bigger capacity in a device that supposedly embraces media and whatnot, therefore they will soon be releasing an 8GB version of their N95 cellphone, in a sleek black finish.

Is this Nokia’s answer to the iPhone? Planting 8GB in one of their current devices? I’m all for mobile phones with larger capacities, but I honestly think that they need to do better than this.
Sony Ericsson has already seen the clues left by Apple, and have already started to implement some of the iPhone features in their latest cellphones, like the Accelerometer in this upcoming camera phone. I honestly think that these little things are what will make the difference in the long run. The less buttons you have to push and the faster you can access what you want with a cellphone, the better it will sell, and you can quote me on that.
