Although Sony is still in the Digital Audio Player market themselves, it looks like they’ve surrendered to the evidence of Apple’s iPod market share, and are now releasing new products compatible with the dominant media player (that’s the iPod in case you weren’t paying attention).

The radio allows you to choose between waking up with the radio (gotta love that static noise in the morning), the buzz (if you need something “harder” to wake you up) or your favorite iPod music.
The boombox allows you to charge your iPod, and of course, listen to the music on it, and also comes with a remote that gives you full access to the iPod’s menu.
Both the radio and the boombox will be available in black or white.

1Bend over, Sony. You know it’s your only remaining option. Just bend over.
