Lifehacker has just released a list of 10 useful applications for those of us that have replaced our desktop e-mail client for Gmail’s internet interface.

These applications help make Gmail even more similar to a dedicated e-mail client. Whether you want to drag-and-drop an attachment or import old e-mails into your Gmail account, this list covers most of the needs that you might have.

Most of these are Firefox plugins, so if you currently use a different browser there are only 2 or 3 add-ons that you’ll be able to use from the list. Still, one of those is the GmailDrive manager which allows you to backup files in your inbox.
