Totally agree with Michaelbayisaretard , as a transformers fan , I think this is one of the worst films that I have ever seen, just like independence day but with more humor, more bullshit ( yes it is possible ) , worst music , more publicity… EBAY SOMEONE ? , CRAP… etc. Hated it , really hated it. 80’s movie is MUCH MUCH MUCH better and music is awesome btw.

this was a great film. your review helped me make the decision to go. I thank you for recommending this movie (even though i still probably would have gone anyway due to my family, but it still helped.). I thought a movie based on a toy would be stupid. I was wrong.

Are you fucking retarded? This movie has some of the worst scenes in the history of cinema. I guess you missed the part where Bumblebee pissed on a guy’s head, right after the dog marked Jazz, right? Two peeing jokes in less than 5 minutes yet you idiots eat this stuff up like it’s candy. How about the fucking plot? Everyone just happens to come to Earth at the same time after 2000 years? Why at the same time? And you obviously missed the pathetic attempts at racking up bucks out of merchandise, such as xbox360, nokia, and every fucking car from General Motors, presented a la I, Robot (in your face, making sure you get the brand from the actor’s lines). Michael Bay has done the impossible. He has managed to make robots shit. He deserves praise for being that dimwitted, and if you’re not convinced, rewind to the part where the autobots were HIDING IN THE KID’S BACKYARD. How big is your backyard, btw, can you fit 2 fucking cars in it + a truck? I bet you can, after all, you’re morons. The only good part about this movie was when Megan Fox popped the trunk. I would have loved this movie if it would have been more about Megan Fox showering than Megatron being killed by a cube. How was he going to hold it in his hand if it destroyed him? God, you people are idiots. I want my 90 minutes back. Ditch this bullshit and pray that Megan Fox starts making porn.

The film is fantastic, came back all the dreams, all the proud to have Prime as my GREAT hero ever and icon to be folowed. And Bay could in 2.2hours transmit most of it. Let’s come T2 and T3!!!!!! But please, DO NOT KILL PRIME AGAIN, as did in 1986, PLEASE!!!!!!! :-)

I really enjoyed the hell out of this movie, and I went into it with high expectations – I was also in the target demo for the original toys/series/comics/etc – I loved Bumblebee and wasn’t sure what to expect from the rest of the Autobots but Bay definitely delivered…the only thing I didn’t like, although doing it would’ve lengthened an already long flick, was the lack of “character development” for most of the Decepticons…the only things you knew about them were what Prime told us about them…Megatron had the big fight scene at the end, but other than that, nothing…I think Starscream had 1 line, maybe? (Though it is obvious from the end that he’ll feature big in the sequels)

And yes, deals have been signed with LaBoeuf and Fox for T2 and T3, reportedly the only non-signee yet is Bay. Soundwave is rumored to be in T2.

I have heard that they are already planing two sequels.

I’d say this is one of the best movies I have seen so far this year and I can’t wait to see what they do with sequels.

SWEET LORD THIS MOVIE OWNS! I tell you Michael, im prob as much as a transformers fan as you are, i allso saw the whole cartoon show+ the 1986 movie before watching the movie. And as you said, bringing Peter Cullin back is like i dont know how to describe it, AWESOME! GODNESS! Optimus Prime is and will forever be my hero.! :D

Love this movie…. but it seems like there may come a sequal ? :)

I really think the trailers, after having watched the movie, give the wrong impression. They make it look like the robots don’t even speak, and that the humans are the entire focus of the film, with the Transformers being background characters….and that’s not the case at all.

The human do have a great deal of screen time – equal to, if not slightly more so – than the Transformers…but it really was an awesome action flick.

hi. i subscired to your rss a few months ago but never posted a comment. but now i just have to chime in cause i too was a great fan of transformers and after watching it last week on the 28th, i think it was the BEST movie so far this year and i really enjoyed it!! this truly makes it worth the money you pay.
