So…looks like Transformers is a bit of a hit.
The film took in 8.9 million dollars on it’s Monday Preview screenings, and then had the highest Tuesday opening ever, grossing $27.9 million on it’s first full day of release. According to Box Office Mojo, Transformers is already at $84.9 million dollars…and the budget on the film was only $150 Million.
With these kind of amazing performance numbers you can not only expect a Transformers 2 and 3, but also He-Man, Thundercats, Silverhawks, MASK, Voltron, and any other 80s cartoon property you can imagine to be making to the big screen very soon.

3I’d also love to see a M.A.S.K. movie. You know that Seth Green would get himself into that project somehow. Maybe he could play Scott Trakker. :)

6M.A.S.K. would be fantastic… imagine Brian Cox (aka William Stryker in X-Men 2) as Miles Mayhem, uttering the words “I oughta buy you a new face”…
