It looks the iPhone’s influence has transcended the world of cellphones, and now most competitors are choosing to follow Apple’s footsteps and bring more touchscreen devices to the public that focus on very few buttons and a simple, yet pretty, graphical user interface.

As you can see from the picture above, this new DAP, the Samsung Yepp P2, only has one physical button at the front, and uses a graphical interface, like the iPhone to navigate your media library.

This sweet DAP will be available in 2/4/8GB versions, will play the MP3, WMA, JPEG, MPEG4 and WMV but also FM radio, Bluetooth, 3.1 inches screen (touch Screen), 0.9cm thick and good for 30 hours on battery (audio, 6 hours for the videos).

Although this device has only been announced in Korea, I think it’s about time for Apple to unveil what they have in store for the future iPods. We already know they’re “great”, at least according to Steve. But if they start putting this device next to their current lineup, I can certainly start to see Samsung eating a bit of the Apple’s share with a device as sophysticated as this one.
