Sirius Satellite Radio posted a $134.1 Million loss according to the New York Times…which is actually a HUGE improvement. Last year at this time they posted a $237.8 million loss. Their increase in revenue can be attributed to half a million new subscribers that I’m sure Howard Stern is happy to take credit for.

Sirius and XM, the two major satellite radio providers, are trying to get approval to merge together, claiming it is the only way they can stay in business…based on these numbers, I’m not surprised.
