If you can’t innovate, then recreate. At least that seems to be the idea for this next device. Remember those old Casio watches that could do a million things? Well, the concept of this device is the same, but with a bit more modern hardware.
Take out the remote control chip and put in a media player and a color LCD, and you’ll get this:
a music player, FM radio, digital watch, voice recorder, photo album, e-book reader

Unless memory fails me. Most people stopped buying these devices due to their bulkiness and also due to how uncomfortable it was to press those little buttons with a device that is stuck to our wrist. This new watch solves neither of these two issues… so I doubt it will sell very well. Still, I believe there is a market for a device of this kind, small as it may be, there is one.

1Ah, I remember sitting in class watching some crappy educational program and messing with the VHS player with my remote control watch.
Memories.

2I just want a bluetooth watch that looks like the one from the Dick Tracy movie.
Is that too much to ask for?
