If the new Qosmio is too expensive for your pockets, or too heavy for your back, then you’ll be happy to hear that this latest Dynabook is an entry level laptop both in terms of money and also in terms of next generation compatibility with one of the new disk formats: HD-DVD.
It’s specifications are: “15.4 inches monitor (1280×800), Core 2 Duo T7100, Intel GM965 Express, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD”

Although this isn’t the first HD-DVD laptop to come out, it’s nice to see a company finally stepping forward and giving consumers a solution for the new disk formats that isn’t a part of a high-end model. And if you add that to the recent announcement about the exclusivity some companies are giving HD-DVD, right now the format is fighting back very well.
