In the land of laptops, usually every brand has a laptop fit with only the very best peripherals. In Toshiba’s case, they have their Qosmio laptop line. This new laptop is a full-fledged desktop replacement laptop, and in some models, the weight sure feels like it’s more of a desktop than a portable device.

The G40 is equipped with 2 digital TV tuners, a 17 inches Wide screen (WUXGA 1920×1200), Core 2 Duo T7300 CPU, 320GB HDD, HD-DVD burner, 2GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce 8600MGT with 256MB VRAM!

It’s not the prettiest laptop in the world, but it certainly isn’t as bad looking as the latest laptop “bomb” we showed you a few days ago. If it weren’t for the weight, I might have purchased one of these a couple of years ago, but if weight isn’t a concern to you. Then you should have a look at the Toshiba Qosmio line.
