Toshiba has their next wave of HD-DVD players in the pipeline for later this year, with the top model, HD-A35 getting a significant price drop over its predecessor, the HD-XA2. The previous model was $799, while this new version has dropped in price to $499.
These new models feature new case designs, and the A30 and A35 models now feature 24p support, which (I hear) is essential if your television supports it.
Expected Pricing and Expected Availability:
HD-A3 ($299.99, October 2007)
HD-A30 ($399.99, September 2007)
HD-A35 ($499.99, October 2007)
