The current reviews on LatinoReview.com and Chud.com really don't do a good job and explaining the film. Most of their reviews are just hype that leaves the reader wondering what the heck is going on. I've posted a full review (almost 15 pages in MS Word) on my website that explains the story and characters, using direct quotes from the script itself. In the original, it's not planet Aris, it's earth that they travel to. It's earth that's been ravaged by an alien attack.
