Virtual storage is becoming more and more important as the world becomes more and more mobile. It’s not always prudent anymore to keep your pictures, videos and other documents exclusively on the computer, and virtual storage is becoming the answer to that.
Today, Windows Live launched SkyDrive, formerly Windows Live Folders. SkyDrive gives you 500 MB of storage, accessible from any PC or Mac. You can park your files there, and have them available to everyone, a select few, or private for just you. The service also boasts thumbnail images, drag and drop, embedable content, all designed in the spiffy Windows Live style.
